As far as I know water is it for boilers whether it is hot water or steam. And I dont think the issue is corrosion much as it is a mineral problem. With steam boilers it is super important to flush it or blow it down weekly and with hot water boilers it is important to flush the system from time to time.

Chat OnlineIf the system has 140 degree water in the water heater then the sizing method maintains 130 degree hot water at the end of the system and then back at the cold water inlet to the water heater the temperature would be approximately 120 degrees. The calculation is based on heat loss in the hot water piping circuit.

Chat OnlineSystem Design. In a hot-water heating system, water is used to store heat energy and to carry it from the burning fuel to the location where the heat will be used. All hot-water (hydronic) systems consist of five basic parts: A firebox, a chamber in which the fuel is burned; A
Chat Online2. DEFINITIONS 2.1 HIGH TEMPERATURE HOT WATER (HTW) SYSTEMS. HTW systems are designed to operate at export temperatures of 350 to 420 °F (177 to 215.5 °C). Generally 400 °F (204.5 °C) is considered as a maximum design temperature due to high pressures and the relative costs to achieve pressurization.
